Taking a look at which players to add to your roster for Week 11!

FFB HUB Staff

Another big name player went down in Week 10. Options to replace Drew Brees, and players that can make a difference for a playoff push!

Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston – Saints

Available in 97% of Yahoo Leagues and 98% of ESPN Leagues

It is no shocker that Winston will be a hot commodity on the waiver wire this week. Winston will get to prove that he still has what it takes to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Yes, he is known to thrown a lot of interceptions. He threw 30 interceptions in 2019. But he can also air it out, and with a prime target in Michael Thomas, expect Winston to be airing it out as long as he is a starter. He did throw 33 touchdowns and over 5000 yards last season! Winston is the top QB target this week with the unknowns of how long Brees will be out.

Kirk Cousins – Vikings

Available in 70% of Yahoo Leagues and 81% of ESPN Leagues

Cousins has strung together two solid back to back performances for the Vikings. Minnesota is on a 3 game winning streak, and are clicking at the right time. Expect Cousins and the Vikings to continue to be competitive as they compete for a playoff spot. Over the past two games, Cousins has thrown for 512 yards and 5 touchdowns over the past two weeks. He is also currently tied for 11th with 17 total touchdown passes in 2020. With how well Dalvin Cook has been running the ball, there is a chance that the Vikings will continue to focus on the run, but Cousins has been solid in his weekly touchdown production.

Get them if they were dropped:

Cam Newton – Patriots Available in 37% of Yahoo Leagues and 39% of ESPN Leagues

The Patriots haven’t called it quits on the season, and are still in the playoff hunt after an upset victory against the Ravens.

Matthew Stafford – Lions Available in 39% of Yahoo Leagues and 38% of ESPN Leagues

Stafford is quietly putting together a solid season without Golladay for the majority of it. He is currently 11th in total passing yards and total touchdown passes.

Running Backs

Nyheim Hines – Colts

Available in 58% of Yahoo Leagues and 48% of ESPN Leagues

Hines has been in the pickup conversation several times this season after a few big outings. The Colts backfield is generally one to avoid since the timeshare split between Hines, Taylor and Wilkins, but Hines keeps producing when he gets the chance. And the Colts are not giving Taylor the lions share of the carries any time soon. There will be some duds along the way for Hines, but his boom potential is too good to pass up at this point. If he is still available in your league, it is worth snagging him for the rest of the season. Hines had 12 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown as well as 5 receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown in Week 10.

Salvon Ahmed – Dolphins

Available in 91% of Yahoo Leagues and 87% of ESPN Leagues

Many were surprised to see Ahmed as the work horse in Week 10 for the Dolphins. Ahmed, the undrafted rookie from the University of Washington took advantage of his opportunity in his first career start for the Dolphins. Ahmed had 21 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. With Myles Gaskin on IR, Ahmed will look to establish himself as the Dolphins RB1 for the foreseeable future.

Wide Receivers

Michael Pittman Jr. – Colts

Available in 90% of Yahoo Leagues and 93% of ESPN Leagues

Pittman Jr. led all Colts in receiving with 7 catches on 8 targets for 101 yards. He also added a carry for 21 yards against the Titans in Week 10. The rookie was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft out of USC, and the playmaker showed up in Week 10. Pittman Jr. had a lot of hype coming into the season, and Rivers and the Colts may take advantage of the 6′ 4″ wide receiver the rest of the way. In his past two games, Pittman Jr. has had 11 receptions for 157 yards on 15 targets.

Cole Beasley – Bills

Available in 50% of Yahoo Leagues and 41% of ESPN Leagues

It is time for Beasley to start getting more love. Beasley has quietly put up the 15th most receiving yards by a wide receiver this season, and is still only rostered in 50% of Yahoo Leagues. He only has 3 receiving touchdown on the season, but he has been a steady performer each week. Beasley is worth rostering the rest of this season, as the Bills make their AFC East Championship push. In Week 10, Beasley had 11 catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Josh Reynolds – Rams

Available in 95% of Yahoo Leagues and 93% of ESPN Leagues

Reynolds has seen his targets increase over the past three weeks. He has had 27 total targets over the past three weeks and has amassed 192 yards and a touchdown on 16 receptions during that span. If you are in need of a receiver in a deep league, it is worth taking a flyer on Reynolds.

Tight End

Logan Thomas – Washington

Available in 64% of Yahoo Leagues and 69% of ESPN Leagues

Thomas was on our list last week, and is making an appearance again this week due to his consistency. Thomas had been a steady presence for Washington and should have a positive game script the rest of the way. He has had at least 4 targets every game this season, and had 4 catches for 66 yards on 6 targets in Week 10. Alex Smith might not throw 55 passes every game, but he should be throwing often. The numbers for Thomas are not mind blowing, but in a very weak year for tight end, consistency is king.
